245 PM MDT TUE AUG 11 1992

...THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN IN CLEAR CREEK COUNTY...

A BAND OF THUNDERSTORMS WHICH DEVELOPED OVER THE CONTINENTAL DIVIDE THIS
AFTERNOON HAS PRODUCED HEAVY RAINS AND SOME SMALL HAIL OVER MUCH OF
CLEAR CREEK COUNTY.  SOME MINOR FLOODING WAS REPORTED IN GEORGETOWN AT
240 PM.  THE HEAVY RAINS HAVE ALSO CAUSED SOME ROCK AND MUDSLIDES TO
OCCUR.  A CAR ON WESTBOUND I-70 WAS STRUCK BY A FALLING BOULDER NEAR
THE TOWN OF SILVER PLUME.  THE THUNDERSTORMS ARE MOVING SOUTHEAST AT
ABOUT 15 MPH...MOVING OVER THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF NORTHEAST PARK AND
SOUTHWEST JEFFERSON COUNTY.

MOTORISTS AND PEOPLE IN THESE AREAS SHOULD REMAIN ALERT FOR MUD AND ROCK
SLIDES AS WELL AS RAPIDLY RISING STREAM LEVELS IN THIS MOUNTAINOUS
TERRAIN.  ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY IS POSSIBLE THROUGH THE REST
OF THE AFTERNOON.

410 PM MDT TUE AUG 11 1992

...THUNDERSTORMS IN SOUTHERN WASHINGTON AND EASTERN ARAPAHOE COUNTIES...

OVER THE LAST HOUR A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS HAS DEVELOPED OVER
NORTHEAST COLORADO.  THE LINE OF STORMS EXTENDED FROM NEAR COLORADO
SPRINGS TO CENTRAL WASHINGTON COUNTY...NEAR ELBA.  STORMS WITHIN THE
LINE WERE MOVING SOUTHERLY AT ABOUT 10 MPH...BUT THE LINE ITSELF WAS
NEARLY STATIONARY.  AT 4 PM NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR
INDICATED THE STRONGEST STORM WAS LOCATED JUST NORTH OF LINDON AND WEST
OF ELBA IN WASHINGTON COUNTY.  ANOTHER THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED IN
EASTERN ARAPAHOE COUNTY JUST EAST OF DEER TRAIL.

THESE STORMS ARE PRODUCING PERIODS OF HEAVY RAIN...WIND GUSTS UP TO
30 MPH AND POSSIBLY SMALL HAIL.  MOTORISTS AND RESIDENTS SHOULD BE
PREPARED FOR THE HEAVY RAINS AND NOT TRY TO CROSS WATER COVERED ROADS.
