IN SOUTH CENTRAL IDAHO ...SOUTHERN BLAINE COUNTY DELAYED REPORT RECEIVED OF TORNADO 3 1/2 MILES NORTH OF RUPERT ABOUT 510 PM MDT. TORNADO WAS MOVING TOWARD THE EAST AND HAS DAMAGED SHEDS AND POWER POLES AND OPEN LAND. ESTIMATED POSITION OF POSSIBLE TORNADO AT 540 PM WOULD BE IN EXTREME S BLAINE COUNTY...JUUST NORTH OF LAKE WALCOTT. IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER IN A NEARBY REINFORCED BUILDING. AS A LAST RESORT...SEEK SHELTER IN A CULVERT...DITCH OR LOW SPOT AND COVER YOUR HEAD WITH YOUR HANDS.

SATELLITE PICTURES AND LIGHTNING DETECTION EQUIPMENT SHOW A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS FROM NEAR GRANGEVILLE TO TWIN FALLS BUILDING RAPIDLY AT 3:40 PM MDT. THESE THUNDERSTORMS ARE MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AROUND 20 MPH. THESE THUNDERSTORMS ARE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING HEAVY RAIN...HAIL AND STRONG GUSTY WINDS. THUNDERSTORMS WILL ALSO DEVELOP OVER OTHER PARTS OF THE STATE THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING AS A MOIST AND UNSTABLE AIRMASS MOVES INTO IDAHO FROM THE WEST.
