AT 730 PM CDT...RADAR INDICATED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS RAPIDLY MOVING
OUT OF NORTHWEST NORTH DAKOTA.  A THUNDERSTORM IS IN SOUTHWEST DIVIDE
COUNTY..30 MILES NNW OF WILLISTON.  THIS THUNDERSTORM WILL MOVE INTO THE
CROSBY AREA WITHIN THE NEXT HOUR.

THIS THUNDERSTORM IS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING BRIEF HEAVY RAINS..SMALL HAIL.
.STRONG GUSTY WINDS AND DEADLY LIGHTNING STRIKES.  THIS THUNDERSTORMS IS
MOVING TO THE ENE AT 30 MPH.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR MUCH OF CENTRAL AND
NORTHEASTERN NORTH DAKOTA...

THE SEVERE STORM FORECAST CENTER HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH
FOR MUCH OF CENTRAL AND NORTHEASTERN NORTH DAKOTA UNTIL 2 AM CDT. THE
WATCH WAS 70 MILES EAST AND WEST OF A LINE FROM LEMMON SOUTH DAKOTA TO
THE CANADIAN BORDER NORTH OF DEVILS LAKE. SOME OF THE CITIES IN THE
WATCH AREA...HETTINGER...BISMARCK...MANDAN...CARRINGTON...HARVEY...
...RUGBY...DEVILS LAKE...BOTTINEAU...LANGDON...AND PEMBINA.

THE WATCH WAS ISSUED AS THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPED IN WESTERN NORTH DAKOTA
EARLIER THIS EVENING. BY 8 PM A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS HAD FORMED
FROM 50 MILES NORTHWEST OF DEVILS LAKE...SOUTHWESTWARD TO 50 MILES SOUTH
OF DICKINSON. THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT 35 MPH.
THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE PRODUCING BRIEF HEAVY RAIN...LIGHTNING...SMALL
HAIL AND GUSTY WINDS.

THESE THUNDERSTORMS HAVE THE POTENTIAL OF PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS...
LARGE HAIL AND TORRENTIAL RAINS.

REMEMBER...LIGHTNING IS THE NUMBER ONE WEATHER EVENT KILLER IN NORTH
DAKOTA.
