MINNEAPOLIS RADAR AT 430 PM CDT INDICATED A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WITH
VERY HEAVY RAIN...SMALL HAIL...GUSTY WINDS AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING OVER
LAKE PEPIN MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 35 MILES AN HOUR. THE THUNDERSTORM
SHOULD BE NEAR THE CITY OF WABASHA BY 445 PM CDT.

PERSONS AND BOATERS ALONG THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER SHOULD TAKE SHELTER
IF THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES.

AT 550 PM...RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPING OVER WEST
CENTRAL WISCONSIN.  ONE STORM WAS ABOUT 60 MILES NORTHWEST OF
LA CROSSE...OR JUST NORTHWEST OF ALMA.  ANOTHER WAS 50 MILES
NORTH OF LA CROSSE NEAR ELEVA.

THE STORMS WERE MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR AND WILL
hLIKELY PRODUCE PEA TO MARBLE SIZED HAIL...AND WIND GUSTS TO
40 MILES AN HOUR.

CITIES AND TOWNS IN THE PATH OF THESE STORMS INCLUDE ALMA...
COCHRANE...WHITEHALL AND PIGEON FALLS.
