TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  830 PM CDT
FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS
 
IN THE TEXAS PANHANDLE
 
   ...SOUTHERN POTTER COUNTY
 
AT 800 PM CDT...AMARILLO NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR WAS STILL
INDICATING A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM JUST NORTHEAST OF AMARILLO. THIS
STORM HAS A HISTORY OF STRONG ROTATION AND COULD PRODUCE A TORNADO.
PERSONS IN NORTHERN AMARILLO SHOULD REMAIN ALERT AND BE PREPARED TO
TAKE IMMEDIATE ACTION SHOULD A TORNADO DEVELOP. THE STORM IS DRIFTING
VERY SLOWLY TO THE WEST-SOUTHWEST.
