...STRONG THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPING RAPIDLY ACROSS MOORE COUNTY
   NORTH OF DUMAS TEXAS...

AT 715 PM CDT...RADAR SHOWED A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WITH HEAVY RAINFALL
OVER MOORE COUNTY OF THE NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS PANHANDLE. THIS THUNDERSTORM
HAD DEVELOPED RAPIDLY DURING THE PAST 20 MINUTES JUST NORTH OF DUMAS.

MOVMENT RWAS SOUTH AT 10 MILES AN HOUR.

PERSONS IN THE CITY OF DUMAS SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR THIS STORM AS
IT MOVES SOUTH ACROSS MOORE COUNTY.

   ARMSTRONG..DONLEY..BRISCOE..HALL AND CHILDRESS COUNTIES...

THE COUNTIES LISTED ABOVE ARE NO LONGER INCLUDED IN THE SEVERE
THUNDERSTORM WATCH ISSUED EARLIER. HOWEVER...POTTER..RANDALL..
OLDHAM..DEAF SMITH..PARMER..CASTRO..AND SWISHER COUNTIES IN THE
SOUTHWEST TEXAS PANHANDLE REMAIN UNDER A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH
UNTIL 9 PM CDT THURSDAY EVENING. THE WATCH ALSO CONTINUES FOR MUCH
OF THE WESTERN HALF OF THE TEXAS SOUTH PLAINS.

LARGE HAIL..DANGEROUS LIGHTNING AND DAMAGING THUNDERSTORM WINDS
ARE POSSIBLE IN THE WATCH AREA. PERSONS IN THESE AREAS SHOULD BE ON
THE LOOKOUT FOR THREATENING WEATHER CONDITIONS AND LISTEN FOR LATER
STATEMENTS AND POSSIBLE WARNINGS.
