 ...TORNADO WATCH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM MDT OR 10 PM CDT FOR
    THE EASTERN ONE-HALF OF NEW MEXICO...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WATCH FOR THE
EASTERN HALF OF NEW MEXICO UNTIL 9 PM MDT. THE WATCH AREA INCLUDES
UNION...QUAY...CURRY...AND ROOSEVELT COUNTIES.

AT 330 PM CDT OR 230 PM MDT...THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR
IN AMARILLO TEXAS SHOWED WIDELY SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPING
ACROSS THE FOOTHILLS OF EASTERN NEW MEXICO.  THESE THUNDERSTORMS
WERE WIDELY SCATTERED FROM AROUND RATON SOUTH TO SOUTH OF LAS VEGAS.

MOVEMENT WAS EAST AT 15 TO 20 MILES AN HOUR.

OTHER WIDELY SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUED
ACROSS THE TEXAS SOUTH PLAINS FROM 40 MILES WEST OF LUBBOCK
SOUTHEAST TO AROUND POST.

MOVEMENT WAS EAST AT 25 MILES AN HOUR.
