A THUNDERSTORM WAS OVER THE FAR SOUTHERN GREEN MOUNTAINS OF VERMONT
AND INTO THE CAPITAL DISTRICT OF NEW YORK.

A TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH SEVEN O CLOCK FROM THE
MOHAWK VALLEY SOUTH IN EASTERN UPSTATE NEW YORK AND IN THE BERKSHIRES
OF MASSACHUSETTS.

A THUNDERSTORM WAS FROM THE BENNINGTON COUNTY VERMONT-BERKSHIRE COUNTY
MASSACHUSETTS BORDER AND WEST THROUGH THE EASTERN TIP OF THE MOHAWK
VALLEY TO AROUND SCHENECTADY.

A SHOWER WAS GROWING OVER CANADARAGO LAKE IN NORTHERN OTSEGO COUNTY
...NORTHWEST OF COOPERSTOWN AND WILL REACH SHARON SPRINGS IN SCHOHARIE
COUNTY BETWEEN THREE O CLOCK AND QUARTER AFTER THREE.   NO LIGHTNING
HAS BEEN RECORDED ON THE LIGHTNING DETECTION SYSTEM IN ASSOCIATION
WITH THIS SHOWER AS OF 240 PM...BUT IT MAY BECOME A THUNDERSTORM
BEFORE THREE O CLOCK.

BE WATCH\FUL FOR THREATING WEATHER.  BE READY TO MOVE TO SHELTER...AND
MOVE THERE QUICKLY IF A WARNING IS ISSUED.

...A TORNADO WATCH IS IN EFFECT THROUGH 700 PM EDT IN UPSTATE EASTERN
NEW YORK FROM THE MOHAWK VALLEY SOUTH...AND IN THE BERKSHIRES OF
MASSACHUSETTS...

A TORNADO WATCH MEANS CONDITIONS ARE FAVORABLE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF
TORNADOES AND SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IN AND CLOSE TO THE WATCH AREA.

AT 310 PM A BAND OF SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WAS FROM DUANESBURG IN
SOUTHWEST SCHENECTADY COUNTY...TO SCHOHARIE AND BREAKABEEN IN
SCHOHARIE COUNTY.  THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT 45 MPH
AND WILL REACH THE HUDSON VALLEY BETWEEN ALBANY AND SAUGERTIES BETWEEN
400 PM AND 430 PM.

AT THIS TIME THERE WERE NO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS.  HOWEVER...SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS CAN DEVELOP VERY RAPIDLY.  IF THE WEATHER GETS THREATENING
GET TO A SAFE PLACE FAST.
