THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 515 AM MDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTY

   IN THE NORTH CENTRAL PART OF SOUTH DAKOTA
      EASTERN CORSON

THIS WARNING INCLUDES THE ADJACENT WATERS OF THE MISSOURI RIVER.

SOME OF THE CITIES INCLUDED IN THIS WARNING ARE MCINTOSH...
MCLAUGHLIN AND MANTO.

AT 415 AM MDT  RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM JUST TO
TO SOUTH AND OVER MCINTOSH SOUTH DAKOTA OR 50 MILES NORTHWEST
OF MOBRIDGE MOVING EAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR.

 THIS STORM HAS A HISTORY OF VERY LARGE HAIL AND HEAVY RAINS.

IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM..YOU SHOULD GET TO A REINFORCED
SHELTER. A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM PRODUCES DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF
60 MPH..HAIL 3/4 INCH OR LARGER..DEADLY LIGHTNING..AND HEAVY RAIN
TRHAT CAN QUICKLY FLOOD A LOW LYING AREA.

THESE STORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE OR
NO ADVANCE WARNING SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT.
