CLOUDY SKIES COVERED NORTHERN SOUTH DAKOTA THIS AFTERNOON WITH A FEW
SHOWERS ACROSS NORTHERN BROWN COUNTY ALONG THE NORTH/SOUTH DAKOTA BORDER.
TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE LOWER 60S WESTRIVER TO THE MID 70S ACROSS
THE FAR NORTHEAST WITH NORTHEAST TO EAST WINDS AT 10 TO 25 MPH WITH SOME
HIGHER GUSTS IN THE MOBRIDGE AREA.

FOR THE REMAINDER OF THIS AFTERNOON AND THIS EVENING...SHOWERS AND

AT 5 PM CDT...SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS HAD DEVELOPED IN NORTHCENTRAL
SOUTH DAKOTA. THE AREA WAS MOSTLY IN SOUTHERN POTTER AND FAULK COUNTIES.
A THUNDERSTORM WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN WAS LOCATED JUST NORTH OF ORIENT
IN SOUTHERN FAULK COUNTY...OR 45 MILES SOUTHWEST OF ABERDEEN. MOVEMENT
WAS NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH.

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS NORTHCENTRAL SOUTH
DAKOTA THIS EVENING AND DEVELOP INTO THE NORTHEAST. THESE STORMS ARE
CAPABLE OF PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAIN...SMALL HAIL...DAMAGING WINDS
