THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 745 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE CENTRAL PART OF SOUTH DAKOTA
      EASTERN BUFFALO...JERAULD

SOME OF THE COMMUNITIES INCLUDED IN THIS WARNING ARE GANN VALLEY...
SPRING VALLEY COLONY...AND WESSINGTON SPRINGS.

AT 645 PM CDT  RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM FROM 10 MILES
WEST TO 5 MILES EAST OF GANN VALLEY. THE STORM WAS MOVING EAST AT
40 MILES AN HOUR.

IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM...YOU SHOULD GET TO A REIN^FORCED
SHELTER.  A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAN PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS
OF 55 MPH...3/4 INCH HAIL OR LARGER...DEADLY LIGHTNING AND VERY
HEAVY RAIN THAT CAN QUICKLY FLOOD A LOW LYING AREA.
