000 TTAA00 KABQ 202257 FFWABQ NMC003-210100- BULLETIN - EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AND FLASH FLOOD WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ALBUQUERQUE NM 454 PM MDT WED MAY 20 1992 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBUQUERQUE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM EFFECTIVE UNTIL 600 PM MDT AND FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 700 PM MDT FOR PEOPLE... IN WEST CENTRAL NEW MEXICO ...SOUTHERN CATRON COUNTY AT 445 PM MDT RADAR INDICATED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN OVER SOUTHERN CATRON COUNTY. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING TO THE NORTH AT ABOUT 20 MPH. AT 440 PM AN OBSERVER IN GLENWOOD REPORTED 1.60 INCHES OF RAIN HAD FALLEN DURING THE PAST HOUR ALONG WITH HAIL. FLOODING OF LOW LYING AREAS WILL BE POSSIBLE. MOTORISTS SHOULD DRIVE WITH CAUTION WHEN APPROACHING LOW AREAS OR DIPS.
