THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 600 PM MST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTY

   IN THE SOUTHEAST PART OF ARIZONA
      SOUTHWEST COCHISE

AT 1650 LOCAL OBSERVER REPORTED APPROACHING CONDITIONS INDICATING
STRONG WIND ASSOCIATED WITH A THUNDERSTORM.

IF YOU ARE IN AN AREA THREATENED BY THE STORM..GO TO A REINFORCED
SHELTER AND PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY
RAIN AND LIGHTNING.

REMEMBER...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE
A TORNADO WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT.

TUCSON WEATHER RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS MOVING TO THE WEST ALONG
THE ARIZONA-MEXICO BORDER.  THE STRONGEST STORMS ARE IN COCHISE COUNTY
OVER DOUGLASS AND ELFRIDA. THE LEADING EDGE OF THESE STORMS IS
APPROACHING BISBEE AT THIS TIME.
OTHER STORMS ARE OVER MOST OF SANTA CRUZ COUNTY...AND SOUTHEAST PIMA
COUNTY. WHILE THESE STORMS ARE NOT VERY STRONG AT THIS TIME...RADAR
INDICTED THAT THEY WERE BUILDING...AND COULD BE A PROBLEM SHORTLY.
ALL PERSONS INVOLVED IN OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES SHOULD KEEP AN EYE ON THE
WEATHER.  MOTORIST DRIVING ACROSS SOUTHEAST ARIZONA...ESPECIALLY I-19
SOUTH OF TUCSON...SHOULD USE CAUTION FOR THE POSSIBILITY OF SUDDEN
STRONG WINDS.  BRIEF HEAVY RAIN COULD REDUCE VISIBILITY AND LEAD TO
MINOR FLOODING OF DIPS AND WASHES.  MOTORISTS BE ADVISED... DO NOT
CROSS FLOODED ROADWAYS.
