...AFTERNOON THUNDERSTORMS OVER WEST CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST FLORIDA..

NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS ARE DEVELOPING OVER THE WESTERN PORTION OF THE PENINSULA
FROM LEVY COUNTY SOUTH THROUGH THE TAMPA BAY AREA TO LEE COUNTY. THE
THUNDERSTORMS ARE MOVING TOWARDS THE GULF. OTHER THUNDERSTORMS WERE INLAND OVER
POLK COUNTY. THE THUNDERSTORMS ARE MOVING TO THE WEST AT 10 TO 15 MPH.

RESIDENTS AND MARINERS SHOULD BE ALERT FOR HEAVY RAIN... STRONG GUSTY WINDS...
AND DEADLY LIGHTNING THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. COMMUTERS SHOULD USE CAUTION
WHEN DRIWVING IN AREAS OF RAIN AND GUSTY WINDS.
