THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SALT LAKE CITY HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AND FLASH FLOOD WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL  645 PM MDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION......
 
IN NORTH CENTRAL UTAH
 
   ...SOUTHERN SALT LAKE COUNTY
 
SEVERAL REPORTS INDICATE 3/4 INCH OR LARGER HAIL IN THE SANDY AREA. IN
ADDITION ANOTHER STRONG THUNDERSTORM IS JUST MOVING ACROSS THE SOUTH
END OF THE OQUIRRH MOUNTAINS.
 
HEAVY RAIN IS ALSO FALLING WITH THESE THUNDERSTORMS. SOME FLOODING OF
STREETS AND BASEMENTS IS LIKELY ESPECIALLY ALONG THE FOOTHILL AREAS.
 
 
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55
MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
