AM CDT SATURDAY MORNING...
...SHOWERS AND STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS OVER EAST TEXAS...

AT 630 PM CDT WEATHER SERVICE RADAR IN SHREVEPORT AND LONGVIEW SHOWED
AN AREA OF SHOWERS AND STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS OVER EAST TEXAS
FROM NEAR MINEOLA SOUTH TO NEAR NECHES. TWO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS..
ONE NEAR FRANKSTON AND ANOTHER NEAR MINEOLA WERE MOVING TO THE EAST
NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH AND PRODUCING LARGE HAIL..HIGH WINDS..AND VERY
HEAVY RAINS.

RADAR ALSO SHOWED MOSTLY LIGHT TO MODERATE RAIN AND SHOWERS OVER
SOUTH ARKANSAS NEAR MAGNOLIA AND OVER NORTHEAST LOUISIANA NEAR
FARMERVILLE AND COLLINSTON.  SURFACE REPORTS ALSO INDICATED LIGHT
RAIN AND DRIZZLE OVER NORTHWEST LOUISIANA NEAR SHREVEPORT AND BOSSIER
CITY. MOVEMENT WAS TO THE NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH.

PERSONS IN EAST TEXAS AND ADJACENT SECTIONS OF SOUTHWEST ARKASAS AND
WESTERN LOUISIANA SHOULD REMAIN ALERT TO CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS
