THE STORMS WERE INCREASING IN COVERAGE AND INTENSITY. A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 AM CDT SATURDAY MORNING. NO SEVERE WEATHER HAS OCCURRED IN SOUTHWEST MISSOURI DURING THE LAST HOUR. NUMEROUS DAMAGING STORMS HAVE OCCURRED IN SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND THIS LINE OF STORMS NOW EXTENDED FROM NEAR NEVADA MISSOURI TO PITTSBURG KANSAS THEN INTO NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA.
