FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...

   ...BEDFORD COUNTY...GILES COUNTY...MARSHALL COUNTY...MAURY COUNTY
 
CIVIL DEFENSE DIRECTORS AND SHERIFFS OFFICES REPORT THAT
SEVERAL ROADS HAVE BEEN CLOSED IN MAURY...MARSHALL...BEDFORD
AND GILES COUNTIES IN SOUTHERN MIDDLE TENNESSEE.
 
RAINFALL TOTALS IN THESE COUNTIES HAVE REACHED IN EXCESS OF
THREE INCHES SINCE RAIN BEGAN SUNDAY...AND SOME AREAS HAVE
RECEIVED AS MUCH AS FIVE INCHES.
 
WEATHER SERVICE RADAR AND SATELLITE CONTINUES TO SHOW MORE RAIN
MOVING INTO THESE COUNTIES.

ATTEMPT TO CROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS
THE ROADWAY.  NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A SMALL
ONE...ON FOOT.  TO ESCAPE RISING WATER MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND.
