FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  300 AM MDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...S...

FLASH FLOODING HAS BEEN REPORTED ON BEAVER CREEK JUST BELOW GIBSON DAM
AND ON THE SUN RIVER AT THE HEAD OF THE RESERVOIR. AREAS OF HEAVY RAIN
FROM THUNDERSTORMS ARE MOVING NORTHWARD ALONG THE FRONT RANGE OF THE
ROCKY MOUNTAINS. OVER TWO AND A QUARTER INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN AT
GIBSON DAM.
 
PERSONS ALONG CREEKS AND STREAMS ON THE FRONT RANGE OF THE ROCKY
MOUNTAINS SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR RAPIDLY RISING WATERS AS THE
THUNDERSTORMS MOVE NORTH.
 
RAIN SHOULD DECREASE FROM THE NORTH ALONG THE FRONT RANGE OF THE ROCKY
MOUNTAINS AFTER MIDNIGHT.
 
 
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS
IMMINENT.  MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.  DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO CROSS BRIDGES..j.DIPS...OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS
THE ROADWAY.  NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A SMALL
ONE...ON FOOT.  TO ESCAPE RISING WATER MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND.
