THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ROCHESTER MN HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING     EFFECTIVE UNTIL  900 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA
 
   ...EASTERN HOUSTON COUNTY
 
 
THIS WARNING INCLUDES THE TOWN OF CALEDONIA AND HOKAH
AND BOATERS ALONG THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER SOUTH OF
LA CROSSE WISCONSIN.
 
AT 800 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
12 MILES SOUTHWEST OF LA CROSSE WISCONSIN NEAR THE
TOWN OF HOUSTON MINNESOTA.  THE STORM WAS MOVING
SOUTHEAST AT 20 MPH TOWARD HOKAH MINNESOTA.
 
 
IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER FROM THE WEATHER IN A
STRONG BUILDING.  DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN...
AND DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS
CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE ADVANCE WARNING
