AT 4 45 PM RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM NEAR SHERBURN...14
MILES WEST OF FAIRMONT. MOVEMENT WAS NORTH AT 15 MILES AN HOUR.

...VERY STRONG THUNDERSTORMS MOVE ACROSS IOWA BORDER INTO
SOUTHERN MINNESOTA...

VERY STRONG THUNDERSTORMS HAD MOVED INTO EXTREME SOUTHERN MINNESOTA
AT 435 PM.  THE STRONGEST OF THESE WAS NEAR FAIRMONT IN MARTIN
COUNTY.  OTHER STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WERE NEAR ALBERT LEA AND MARSHALL.
THESE STORMS MAY PRODUCE HAIL...STRONG GUSTY WINDS...FREQUENT
LIGHTNING...AND EXTREMELY HEAVY RAINFALL.  PERSONS ENGAGED IN
OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES SUCH AS BOATING...CAMPING...OR WORKING ON FARM
EQUIPMENT SHOULD BE PREPARED TO TAKE APPROPRIATE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
IF THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES.  REMEMBER THAT LIGHTNING IS A
KILLER.

MOVEMENT OF THESE STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WAS TO THE NORTH AT 25 MILES
AN HOUR.  THEY WILL BE AFFECTING THE CITIES OF MARSHALL AND
WINNEBAGO BY 500 PM.
