IN NORTHEAST FLORIDA ...FLAGLER COUNTY AND THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS. AT 955 AM EDT THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR AT DAYTONA BEACH SHOWED A TORNADO ALONG THE PUTNAN AND FLAGLER COUNTY LINE NEAR CRESENT CITY MOVING EAST 40 MPH. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...THE SAFEST PLACE IS A BASEMENT. GET UNDER A WORKBENCH OR PIECE OF STURDY FURNITURE. THESE VERY STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING EAST AND A LITTLE SOUTH OF EAST AT 40 MPH AND ARE CAPABLE OF PRDUCING VERY STRONG AND GUSTY WIND...VERY HEAVY DOWNPOURS...FREQUENT DEADLY LIGHTNING STRIKES AND HAIL.
