AT 345 PM STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WERE BETWEEN LAKELAND AND CLERMONT. OTHER THUNDERSTORMS WERE IN THE MELBOURNE... COCOA AREA IN CENTRAL BREVARD COUNTY AND NEAR KENANSVILLE IN SOUTHERN OSCEOLA COUNTY. TUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED JUST WEST AND SOUTH OF BUNNELL AND OVER THE COAST NEAR DAYTONA BEACH AND SOUTH OF NEW SMYRNA BEACH. THUNDERSTORMS WILL LIKELY DEVELOP OVER THE ORLANDO METRO AREA INCLUDING KISSIMMEE ST CLOUD. THESE STORMS WILL CONTNUE TO STRENGTHEN AND INCREASE IN ARE-A THIS AFTERNOON AND COULD PRODUCE STRONG GUSTY WINDS AND LARGE HAIL. AS ALWAYS PEOPLE SHOULD BE AWARE OF DANGEROUS LIGHTNING. AT 440 PM...STRONG THUNDERSTROMS WERE DEVELOPING ALONG THE SOUTH SIDE OF LAKE TOHO. THE THUNDERSTROMS WERE WITHIN A BAND OF SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS THAT EXTENDED FROM SANFORD...THROUGH ORLANDO...TO LAKE WALES. OTHER STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WERE SOUTH OF PALM BAY AND IN THE TITUSVILLE AREA. THESE THUNDERSTROMS WILL PRODUCE STRONG GUSTY WINDS...FREQUENT LIGHTNING...VERY HEAVY RAIN...AND POSSIBLE HAIL. PEOPLE SHOULD TAKE SHELTER INDOORS IF THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES. THE THUNDERSTOR%MS WERE WITHIN A LARGE RAIN AREA THAT COVERED MOST ALL OF EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA. THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING TO THE EAST AT 5 TO 10 MPH.
