THERE WERE NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS FROM OCALA TO MT DORA... APOPKA... KISSIMMEE AND THEN SOUTH ALONG THE KISSIMMEE RIVER TO NEAR LAKE PLACID. SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ALSO CONTINUED ALONG AND JUST INLAND FROM THE COAST FROM NEW SMYRNA BEACH SOUTH TO FORT PIERCE. IN BOTH THESE AREAS... THE THUNDERSTORMS HAD GUSTY WINDS AND HEAVY RAIN. BETWEEN 3 AND 4 PM... PERSONS IN LOCATIONS FROM OCALA AND ASTOR PARK SOUTH ACROSS LAKE... ORANGE AND OSCEOLA COUNTIES SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN AND GUSTY WINDS. PLEASE SECURE LOOSE OBJECT THAT COULD BE BLOWN AWAY BY GUSTY WINDS. TAKE PRECAUTIONS TO AVOID BEING CAUGHT OUTSIDE IN A THUNDERSTORM. MOTORISTS ARE URGED TO SLOW DOWN IN AREAS OF HEAVY RAIN. ELSEWHERE...
