...VERY STRONG THUNDERSTORMS IN NORTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN...

AT 600 PM...WEATHER RADAR INDICATED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS IN WESTERN
MARATHON AND NORTHWEST WOOD COUNTIES. THE STORMS WERE NEAR SPENCER IN
MARATHON COUNTIES...35 MILES WEST SOUTHWEST OF WAUSAU TO MARSHFIELD IN
NORTHWEST WOOD COUNTY...26 MILES NORTHWEST OF WISCONSIN RAPIDS. THE
STORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT AROUND 30 MPH AND WILL BE EFFECTING THE
TOWNS OF HEWITT IN NORTHERN WOOD...AND STRATFORD IN CENTRAL MARATHON
COUNTY BY 630 PM.

NO SEVERE WEATHER HAS BEEN REPORTED WITH THESE STORMS. HOWEVER...THESE
STORMS ARE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING HEAVY RAINS...STRONG WINDS...AND HAIL.

PERSONS IN MARATHON AND WOOD COUNTIES ARE ADVISED TO STAY ALERT FOR
