FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  930 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN WEST TENNESSEE
 
   ...NORTHERN MADISON COUNTY
 
A NEARLY STATIONARY THUNDERSTORM COMPLEX OVER NORTHERN MADISON COUNTY
BETWEEN JACKSON AND HUMBOLDT IS PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAINFALL AND HAS
ALREADY CAUSE SOME LOCALIZED FLOODING.
 
THIS STORM WILL BE WEAKENING OVER THE NEXT HOUR...BUT RUNOFF FROM
THE STORMS WILL CAUSE FLOODING FOR PROBLEMS FOR ABOUT TWO MORE HOURS.
 
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS
IMMINENT.  MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.  DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO CROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS
THE ROADWAY.  NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A SMALL
ONE...ON FOOT.  TO ESCAPE RISING WgATER MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND.
