THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 445 PM MDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY

   IN THE NORTH CENTRAL PART OF NEBRASKA
      WESTERN CHERRY

AT 400 PM MDT...THE PUBLIC REPORTED A TORNADO 60 MILES SOUTHWEST OF
VALENTINE OR 30 MILES NORTHWEST OF MULLEN.  THE TORNADO WAS MOVING
NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH.

TAKE SHELTER IN A BASEMENT IF AVAILABLE.  OTHERWISE GO TO A SMALL
INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR.  STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.  ABANDON
CARS AND MOBILE HOMES.

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH HAS ALSO BEEN ISSUED FOR THE WARNED
AREA UNTIL 900 PM MDT.
