EFFECTIVE UNTIL 630 PM MDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY

   IN THE NORTH CENTRAL PART OF NEBRASKA
      WESTERN CHERRY

AT 554 PM MDT...RADAR INDICATED A TORNADO 25 MILES SOUTH OF MERRIMAN
...OR 55 MILES SOUTHWEST OF VALENTINE.  MOVEMENT WAS TO THE
NORTHEAST AT 15 MPH.

IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...FIND SHELTER IN A NEARBY REINFORCED
BUILDING.  AS A LAST RESORT...TAKE SHELTER IN A CULVERT...DITCH OR
LOW SPOT AND COVER YOUR HEAD WITH YOUR HANDS.

   NEBRASKA...

TWO THUNDERSTORMS HAVE DEVELOPED OVER WEST CENTRAL NEBRASKA AT 440 PM
MDT.  THE STRONGER THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED ABOUT 5 MILES WEST OF
WHITMAN IN GRANT COUNTY OR ABOUT 50 MILES EAST OF ALLIANCE.  THIS
THUNDERSTORM MAY PRODUCE SOME SMALL HAIL ALONG WITH A SMALL AREA OF
HEAVY RAIN.

THE OTHER THUNDERSTORM WAS JUST ENTERING ARTHUR COUNTY ABOUT 15 MILES
WEST SOUTHWEST OF ARTHUR OR ABOUT 55 MILES WEST NORTHWEST OF NORTH
PLATTE.

THE THUNDERSTORMS ARE MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT 25 MILES AoN HOUR.  NO
SEVERE WEATHER IS EXPECTED WITH THESE THUNDERSTORMS.
