THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 600 AM EST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE SOUTHEAST PART OF KENTUCKY
      FLOYD...KNOTT...LETCHER...PIKE

AT 1215 AM EST...A LARGE AREA OF RAIN HAD MOVED OVER SOUTHEAST
KENTUCKY ONCE AGAIN. AS THIS RAIN MOVES OVER FLOYD...KNOTT...LETCHER
AND PIKE COUNTIES...THE RAIN FALLING ON ALREADY SATURATED GROUND
WILL PRODUCE FLASH FLOODING.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS
IMMINENT. MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO CROSS BRIDGES..DIPS OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS THE
ROAD. NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM..EVEN A SMALL ONE..ON
