AT 220 PM CST WEATHER SERVICE RADAR IN JACKSON INDICATED THAT THUNDERSTORMS WERE INTENSIFYING OVER SOUTHWEST MISSISSIPPI. THE STRONGEST STORM WAS MOVIMG INTO FRANKLIN COUNTY MOVING TOWARDS MEADVILLE AND BUDE. IF THIS STORM CONTINUES TO STRENGTHEN...A WARNING MAY HAVE TO BE ISSUED. AT 230 PM CST WEATHER SERVICE RADAR IN JACKSON INDICATED THAT THUNDERSTORMS WERE INTENSIFYING OVER SOUTHWEST AND WEST CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI. THE STRONGEST STORM WAS MOVING INTO FRANKLIN COUNTY. THIS STORM WILL AFFECT THE TOWNS OF BUDE AND MEADVILLE BY 3 PM. OTHER STORMS WERE GAINING STRENGTH WERE NEAR FAYETTE AND PORT GIBSON. THE STORMS WERE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 35 MILES AN HOUR. AT 230 PM SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE OVER PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL AND EAST CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI. NO SEVERE WEATHER WAS INDICATED. A LARGE AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS WAS LOCATED OVER SOUTHWEST ...WESTERN AND NORTHERN MISSISSIPPI. THE vSTRONGEST THUNDERSTORMS WERE IN THE SOUTHWESTERN PORTION OF THE STATE. THE THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY IS MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH AND WILL BE MOVING INTO EAST CENTRAL AND NORTH CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI LATER THIS AFTERNOON.
