AT 540 PM EST RADAR SHOWED THUNDERSHOWERS DEVELOPING JUST EAST OF
OF BENTON AND NEWTON COUNTIES IN NORTHWEST INDIANA.

THESE SHOWERS WILL MOVE INTO INDIANA BY 6 PM EST BETWEEN THE
TOWNS OF DUNN AND MOROCCO.

THE THUNDERSHOWERS MAY BECOME THUNDERSTORMS AS THEY MOVE NORTHEAST
AT 40 TO 45 MILES AN HOUR.

PEOPLE IN NORTHERN INDIANA SHOULD LISTEN FOR LATER STATEMENTS AND
POSSIBLE WARNINGS AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE INTO THE LOWEST LEVEL
OF A STURDY BUILDING.

A TORNADO WATCH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM EST FOR THE NORTHERN
HALF OF INDIANA. THE WATCH AREA INCLUDES THAT PART OF THE STATE
N[ORTH OF A LINE FROM TERRE HAUTE TO MUNCIE.
