FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1045 PM CST (1145 PM EST)
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTHWEST INDIANA
 
   ...KNOX COUNTY
 
AT 837 PM CST RADAR INDICATED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN
OVER KNOX COUNTY...40 MILES NORTH OF EVANSVILLE. THE STORMS WERE ALONG
A LINE FROM NEAR DECKER TO WESTPHALIA INDIANA. OTHER STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN WERE IN SOUTHEAST ILLINOIS AND WILL
 BE MOVING ACROSS KNOX COUNTY DURING THE NEXT HOUR OR TWO.
 
RESIDENTS SHOULD BE ALERT TO RISING WATER AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE
TO HIGHER GROUND.
 
IN ADDITION TO THE HEAVY RAINS THESE STORMS WILL ALSO PRODUCE
STRONG WINDS.
 
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS
OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
