THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 500 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE CENTRAL PART OF ILLINOIS
      SOUTHEAST MACON...NORTHERN MOULTRIE

AT 422 PM CDT MACON COUNTY SHERIFF REPORTED FUNNEL CLOUDS IN THE
CASNER AND MT ZION AREAS...ABOUT 8 MILES EAST AND SOUTHEAST OF
DECATUR.  THE FUNNELS WERE REPORTED TO BE NEARING THE GROUND AND
MOVING EAST SOUTHEAST AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED.
SOME TOWNS IN THE PATHS OF THESE FUNNELS INCLUDE CASNER...LAKE CITY
...DALTON AND LOVINGTON.

FUNNEL CLOUDS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE
OR NO ADVANCE WARNING...SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE
TO A PLACE OF SAFETY.

IF YOU ARE IN AN AREA THREATENED BY THE STORM..GO TO A REINFORCED
SHELTER AND PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY
