926 PM EDT THU MAY 30 1991

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM FOR MARION
COUNTY.

AT 925 PM NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF
THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINS...STRONG WINDS...AND HAIL FROM
ABOUT 20 MILES NORTHWEST OF MANSFIELD TO NEAR RIDGEWAY IN HARDIN
COUNTY.  THE STORMS WERE MOVING EAST-SOUTHEAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR.

THESE STORMS WILL TRACK THROUGH MARION COUNTY BETWEEN BY 1015 PM...
WITH THE STRONGEST STORMS PASSING THROUGH THE NORTHERN PART OF THE
COUNTY.  PEOPLE IN MARION COUNTY SHOULD BE ALERT FOR THREATENING
WEATHER AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO A PLA}CE OF SAFETY IF SEVERE WEATHER
IS SIGHTED OR A WARNING IS ISSUED.
