240 AM CDT WED JUN 26 1991

...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR NORTHWEST MINNESOTA
   UNTIL 5 AM...BUT HAS BEEN CANCELED FOR EASTERN NORTH DAKOTA...

AT 225 AM CDT...INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS...WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN WERE OVER
THE CENTRAL AND NORTHERN RED RIVER VALLEY.

THE STRONGEST THUNDERSTORM WAS 25 MILES NORTHEAST OF GRAND FORKS IN
EXTREME SOUTHWEST MARSHALL COUNTY OF NORTHWEST MINNESOTA NEAR THE TOWNS
OF ARGYLE AND OSLO. THIS INTENSE THUNDERSTORM WILL LIKELY PRODUCE SMALL
HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN ALONG WITH DEADLY LIGHTNING AS IT MOVES EAST AT
AT 40 MILES AN HOUR. THIS THUNDERSTORM SHOULD MOVE EAST ACROSS SOUTHERN
MARSHALL COUNTY OF NORTHWEST MINNESOTA BY 330 AM.

OTHER SCATTERED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN WERE OCCURRING
OVER A 15 TO 20 MILE WIDE AREA FROM JUST NORTH OF FARGO/MOORHEAD
NORTHWARD THROUGH THE CROOKSTON AREA OF NORTHWEST MINNESOTA.
THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE ALSO MOVING EAST AT 40 MILES AN HOUR
AND MUCH OF THIS AREA SHOULD MOVE INTO NORTHWEST MINNESOTA BY
330 AM.

PERSONS OVER NORTHWEST MINNESOTA...ESPECIALLY IN AN AREA FROM
WARROAD...SOUTHWEST THROUGH THIEF RIVER FALLS AND INTO THE ADA
AREA CAN EXPECT THESE THUNDERSTORMS THROUGH 330 AM.

OTHER SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSHOWERS WERE OCCURRING OVER
EXTREME NORTHEAST NORTH DAKOTA AND NORTHWEST MINNESOTA.

...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR A PORTION OF
   NORTHWEST MINNESOTA UNTIL 5 AM CDT...

AT 326 AM CDT...INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS...SOME WITH VERY STRONG WIND...
VERY HEAVY RAIN...SMALL HAIL AND DEADLY LIGHTNING WERE MOVING INTO
NORTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA.

MOST OF THESE THUNDERSTORMS HAD MOVED INTO ROSEAU...NORTHERN BELTRAMI
AND LAKE OF THE WOODS COUNTIES OF NORTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA. MOVEMENT
WAS EAST AT 45 MILES AN HOUR AND PERSONS OVER THIS AREA AND THE LAKE
OF THE WOODS CAN EXPECT THESE STORMS THROUGH 4 AM.

THERE WERE A FEW SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSHOWERS THAT WERE
LINGERING OVER A SMALL PART OF NORTHWEST MINNESOTA BUT AREAL COVERAGE
HAD DECREASED CONSIDERABLY SINCE 230 AM.

THIS WILL BE THE LAST STATEMENT ON THIS ACTIVITY MOVING INTO
NORTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA UNLESS FURTHER ACTIVITY DEVELOPS.
