FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  3 PM CST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS
 
   ...BASTROP COUNTY...BURLESON COUNTY...LEE COUNTY...MILAM COUNTY
   ...TRAVIS COUNTY...EASTERN WILLIAMSON COUNTY
 
THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING HEAVY RAINS CONTINUE OVER THESE
COUNTIES...WITH MORE HEAVY RAINS EXPECTED INTO THE AFTERNOON HOURS.
MANY STREAMS AND CREEKS AS WELL AS LOW LYING ROADWAYS AND LOW WATER
CROSSINGS ARE WATER COVERED. ONE HALF MILE SOUTH OF ELGIN 7 AND ONE
HALF INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN WHILE 11 MILES EAST OF AUSTIN THE
RAINFALL WAS UP TO 6.66 INCHES. REPORTS OF EVACUATION WAS TAKEN PLACE
ALONG DRY CREEK EAST OF BERSTROM AFB. HIGHWAY 21 IN CALDWELL WAS
REPORTED FLOODED.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW WHERE YOU ARE RELATIVE TO STREAMS...RIVERS...OR
CREEKS WHICH CAN BECOME KILLERS IN HEAVY RAINS.  CAMPERS SHOULD
AVOID CAMPING ALONG STREAMS OR CREEKS DURING THREATENING RAINS.
