AT 410 PM VERY INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS WERE IN EAST KANSAS...THE
STRONGEST JUST TO THE SOUTH OF TOPEKA AND TO THE EAST OF EMPORIA.

THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING NORTHEAST RAPIDLY AT 45 MILES AN HOUR.

VERY STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE MOVING INTO THE KANSAS CITY AREA AND
INTO PARTS OF WESTCENTRAL AND NORTHWEST MISSOURI BETWEEN 5 00 AND 6 00
PM THIS EVENING.

PERSONS IN THE KANSAS CITY METROPOLITAN AREA AND IN WESTERN MISSOURI
