SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 630 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...

IN EAST CENTRAL IOWA

   ...NORTHWESTERN JACKSON COUNTY...NORTHEASTERN JONES COUNTY

IN NORTHEAST IOWA

   ...SOUTHERN DUBUQUE COUNTY

AT 530 PM CDT WEATHER RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IN
NORTHEAST JONES COUNTY. THIS STORM WAS 20 MILES SOUTHWEST
OF DUBUQUE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR.

RESIDENTS IN CASCADE AND BERNARD SHOULD BE ON THE ALERT FOR
THIS SEVERE STORM AS IT CAN PRODUCE WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MILES
AN HOUR AND LARGE HAIL.


SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES
WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING.  A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN
EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA.
