RARADAR INDICATED DOWNPOURS IN THUNDERSTORMS IN WASHINGTON AND MONROE
COUNTIES. REPORTS OF 2 TO 3 INCHES OF RAIN IN LESS THAN AN HOUR HAVE
COME FROM OBSERVERS IN THOSE COUNTIES. THE SHERIFF REPORTED SOME ROADS
IN WASHINGTON COUNTY WERE FLOODED.

910 PM EDT SUN JUN 16 1991

THUNDERSTORMS WERE POURING HEAVY RAIN ON PARTS OF SOUTHEAST OHIO
THIS EVENING.

AT 9 PM WEATHER RADAR SHOWED THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN OVER
MUCH OF WASHINGTON AND PART OF MONROE COUNTIES. URBAN STREET FLOODING
WAS REPORTED IN MARIETTA BY THE WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF. THE SHERIFF
ALSO REPORTED FREQUENT LIGHTNING STRIKES.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE THROUGH FLOOD WATERS. TAKE SHELTER INSIDE FROM
DANGEROUS LIGHTNING. LISTEN TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO OR YOUR LOCAL RADIO
AND TELEVISION FOR THE LATEST INFORMATION AND POSSIBLE WARNINGS.
