AT 415 PM CDT...WEATHER RADAR INDICATED AN INTENSE THUNDERSTORM...70
MILES SOUTHWEST OF WILLISTON...NEAR THE TOWN OF RICHEY IN MONTANA. THE
THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT 35 MPH.

THIS THUNDERSTORM COULD WELL PRODUCE HEAVY RAINS...HAIL STRONG WINDS
AND VERY DANGEROUS LIGHTNING. TAKE SHELTER IF THIS STORM APPROACHES
YOUR AREA.

AT 500 PM CDT...WEATHER RADAR INDICATED AN INTENSE THUNDERSTORM...30
MILES SOUTHWEST OF WILLISTON...NEAR THE TOWN OF SIDNEY MONTANA. THE
THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT 45 MPH.

IF THIS THUNDERSTORM CONTINUES ON ITS CURRENT COURSE...IT WILL ENTER
INTO THE WILLISTON AREA OF NORTHWEST NORTH DAKOTA AT 530-545 PM CDT.

EARLIER THIS SAME THUNDERSTORM DROPPED 3/4 INCH HAIL AND PRODUCED
DAMAGING WINDS IN LAMBERT MONTANA.

A TORNADO WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR NORTHCENTRAL NORTH DAKOTA UNTIL
1 AM CDT TONIGHT. THIS WATCH INCLUDES THE CITIES OF MINOT...BOTTINEAU
...BELCOURT AND GARRISON AND ALSO INCLUDES ALL OF THE LAKE SAKAKAWEA
AREA.

AT 540 PM CDT WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED AN INTENSE THUNDERSTORM
MOVING THROUGH WILLISTON. THIS STORM WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 45 MPH
AND WILL MOVE INTO NORTHWEST WARD AND RENVILLE COUNTIES BY 730 PM CDT.
THIS STORM WILL LIKELY PRODUCE VERY HEAVY RAIN...HAIL...AND STRONG
GUSTY WINDS ALONG WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF PRODUCING A TORNADO.

OTHER THUNDERSTORMS WILL LIKELY DEVELOP THIS EVENING AND COULD BECOME
SEVERE AND POSSIBLY PRODUCE A TORNADO.

PEOPLE IN THE NORTHCENTRAL PART OF THE STATE WILL NEED TO SEEK SHELTER
IF THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES.
