...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS APPROACHING CENTRAL NEW YORK...

AT 700 PM EDT...WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED AN AREA OF STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS MOVING THROUGH THE WESTERN FINGER LAKES REGION.  THE
STORMS WERE MOVING TO THE EAST NORTHEAST AT 60 MPH AND SHOULD BE
MOVING INTO CAYUGA COUNTY DURING THE NEXT HOUR.

THE STORMS ARE EXPECTED TO MOVE RAPIDLY THROUGH MOST OF CENTRAL NEW YORK
DURING THE EVENING TONIGHT.

REMEMBER...A TORNADO WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR ALL OF CENTRAL NEW YORK
UNTIL 1AM EDT WEDNESDAY MORNING.  PERSONS SHOULD BE ON THE ALERT FOR
SEVERE WEATHER AND TAKE SHELTER IMMEDIATELY IF THREATENING WEATHER
APPROACHES.
