MORNING...

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 100 AM FOR THE FOLLOWING
NORTH CENTRAL LOWER MICHIGAN COUNTIES...CLARE...GLADWIN...OGEMAW...
ROSCOMMON...CRAWFORD AND OTSEGO AS WELL AS MOST OF THE REST OF NORTHERN
LOWER MICHIGAN.

AT 810 PM EDT SKIES WERE PARTLY CLOUDY ACROSS NORTH CENTRAL LOWER
MICHIGAN. TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE UPPER 70S AND LOW 80S WITH
SOUTHWEST WINDS OF 10 TO 15 MPH. RADAR INDICATED SOME DEVELOPING
THUNDERSTORMS OUT OVER LAKE MICHIGAN WHICH WERE MOVING TO THE EAST
AT AROUND 30 MPH. ANOTHER LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS STRETCHED ACROSS
THE STRAITS AREA AND WAS MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH.

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE LIKELY TONIGHT WITH SOME BECOMING
SEVERE. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE STRONG DAMAGING WINDS OVER
60 MPH...TORRENTIAL RAINFALLS...FREQUENT DEADLY LIGHTNING AND
CAN SOMETIMES PRODUCE TORNADOS.
