000 TTAA00 KABQ 132018 FFWABQ NMC001-043-132115- BULLETIN - EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED FLASH FLOOD WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ALBUQUERQUE NM 217 PM MDT THU JUN 13 1991 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBUQUERQUE HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 315 PM MDT FOR PEOPLE... IN CENTRAL NEW MEXICO ...NORTHERN BERNALILLO COUNTY...SOUTHERN SANDOVAL COUNTY AT 210 PM MDT SEVERAL REPORTS OF VERY HEAVY RAINS WERE RECIEVED FROM RIO RANCHO AND CORRALES. WATER WAS REPORTED RUNNING IN STREETS IN RIO RANCHO AND IN SOME OF THE ARROYOS. RADAR SHOWS THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING TOWARDS THE EAST AROUND 10 MPH. MOST DEATHS IN FLASH FLOODING OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS BRIDGES...D>IPS...OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING ARROYO...EVEN A SMALL ONE...ON FOOT.
