NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TUCSON AZ

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1245 PM MST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTY

   IN THE SOUTH CENTRAL PART OF ARIZONA
      NORTHEAST PIMA

AT 1135 GOLF SIZE HAIL WAS REPORTED BY THE ORACLE VALLEY FIRE
DEPARTMENT IN THE NORTHWEST PART OF THE TUCSON METROPOLITAN
AREA.  ANOTHER SPOTTER IN THE VICINITY REPORTED SMALL FUNNEL
CLOUDS AND A PIMA COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL GAUGE REPORTED HALF AN INCH
OF RAIN IN 20 MINUTES.  THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAUSING THESE
CONDITIONS IS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 20 MPH AND SHOULD BE OUT OF THE
AREA WITHIN THE HOUR.

IF YOU ARE IN AN AREA THREATENED BY THE STORM..GO TO A REINFORCED
SHELTER AND PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY
RAIN AND LIGHTNING.
