000 TTAA00 KTUL 182323 SVRTUL OKC035-190015- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TULSA OK 623 PM CDT TUE SEP 18 1990 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TULSA HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 715 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES ... IN NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA ...CRAIG COUNTY AT 621 PM RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 9 MILES WEST-SOUTHWEST OF VINITA MOVING TOWARD THE EAST AT ABOUT 25 MILES AN HOUR. PEOPLE IN VINITA ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM AND SHOULD SEEK SHELTER. THIS STORM IS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH AND LARGE HAIL. WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING. DO NOT STAND BY WINDOWS.
