TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 915 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY...
IN EAST CENTRAL KANSAS
...SHAWNEE
A SPOTTER AND POLICE REPORTS INDICATE A FUNNEL CLOUD ON THE NORTH SIDE
OF TOPEKA...AT 2ND AVE AND WANAMAKER RD MOVING NORTHEAST AT 20 MPH.
THE TORNADO WARNING NOW COVERS ALL OF SHAWNEE COUNTY...REPEAT...
ALL OF SHAWNEE COUNTY INCLUDING THE CITY OF TOPEKA.
THIS REPLACES THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WARNING FOR SHAWNEE COUNTY AND
THE TORNADO WARNING FOR SOUTHERN SHAWNEE COUNTY.
THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS STORM. ACT QUICKLY. IF YOU ARE IN THE
PATH OF THIS TORNADO MOVE TO A SHELTER BELOW GROUND IF AVAILABLE.
OTHERWISE... GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR
