LAKE WIND ADVISORIES CONTINUE IN EFFECT FOR CENTRAL AND WESTERN
KANSAS UNTIL AROUND MIDNIGHT.

STRONG GUSTY SOUTH WINDS CONTINUE OVER CENTRAL AND WESTERN KANSAS
THIS EVENING. WINDS OF 15 TO 30 MILES AN HOUR WITH GUSTS AS HIGH
AS 45 MILES AN HOUR WILL MAKE BOATING DANGEROUS ON AREA LAKES.

WINDS SHOULD DIMINISH TO 15 TO 25 MILES AN HOUR OVER MOST OF THE
AREA AFTER MIDNIGHT.

AT 1115 A 30 MILE WIDE LINE OF SHOWERS AND SOME THUNDERSTORMS WAS LOCATED
FROM NEAR NORFOLK NEBRASKA TO JUST NW OF DODGE CITY KANSAS.  THE AREA OF
STRONGEST ACTIVITY WAS LOCATED ALONG A LINE FROM JUST NORTH OF GRAND
ISLAND NEBRASKA TO ABOUT 50 MILES EAST SOUTHEAST OF PHILLIPSBURG OR JUST
SOUTHWEST OF SMITH CENTER.  ANOTHER AREA OF STRONG ACTIVITY WAS LOCATED
25 MILES SOUTHWEST OF HAYS.

HEAVY RAIN...GUSTY WINDS AND SMALL HAIL HAVE BEEN ASSOCIATED WITH THESE
STORMS.  THESE STORMS ARE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 35 MILES.

TORNADO WATCH NUMBER 270 IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM FOR CENTRAL AND NORTH
CENTRAL KANSAS WEST OF A LINE FROM WASHINGTON TO SALINA TO HUTCHINSON.

THESE THUNDERSTORMS ARE MOVING OVER ALREADY WET AND STURATED GROUND
AND COULD QUICKLY FLOOD LOW LYING AREAS AND AREAS PRONE TO FLOODING.
