000 TTAA00 KCSG 301802 SVRCSG GAC095-301900- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE COLUMBUS GA 200 PM EDT THU AUG 30 1990 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN COLUMBUS HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 300 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN SOUTHWEST GEORGIA ...DOUGHERTY COUNTY AT 2PM EDT COLUMBUS WEATHER RADAR INDICTED AN INTENSE THUNDERSTORM LOCATED 35 MILES SOUTHWEST OF ALBANY. THIS STORM WAS MOVING TO THE EAST AT 15 MPH. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM. IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH YOU SHOULD PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...LARGE HAIL...AND DEADLY LIGHTNING. PEOPLE OUTSIDE SHOULD MOVE TO A SHELTER...
