FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  800 PM MDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION......
 
IN SOUTHEAST UTAH

A WEATHER SPOTTER 15 MILES EAST OF MONTICELLO REPORTS 1.5 INCHES OF
RAIN IN THE LAST HOUR AND STILL RAINING HARD. HEAVY RAIN HAS ALSO BEEN
REPORTED IN MONTICELLO.
 
CONTINUOUS LIGHTNING WAS ALSO REPORTED WITH THIS THUNDERSTORM.
 
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW WHERE YOU ARE RELATIVE TO STREAMS...RIVERS...OR
CREEKS WHICH CAN BECOME KILLERS IN HEAVY RAINS.  CAMPERS SHOULD
AVOID CAMPING ALONG STREAMS OR CREEKS DURING THREATENING RAINS.
