AT 630 PM CDT THUNDERSTORMS AND SHOWERS WERE NUMEROUS OVER THE SOUTH
HALF OF THE BIG COUNTRY. STRONGEST STORMS EXTENDED ALONG A LINE FROM
NORTH OF GOLDTHWAITE TO SANTA ANNA TO BALLINGER TO JUST NORTH OF
SAN ANGELO.

MOVEMENT DURING THE PAST HOUR WAS A SLOW DRIFT TO THE SOUTHEAST.

STRONG THUNDERSTORMS HAVE DEVELOPED IN THE NORTHERN CONCHO VALLEY
ALONG A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE AS IT MOVED SOUTHWARD. AT 650 PM CDT
RADAR INDICATED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS FROM SOUTH OF BALLINGER ACROSS
NORTHERN TOM GREEN AND SOUTHERN COKE COUNTIES...INCLUDING CARLSBAD...
TO NORTHWEST IRION COUNTY. THE STORMS WERE MOVING SOUTH AT 15 MPH.

THE HEAVIEST THUNDERSTORMS WERE NORTH AND SOUTHWEST OF CARLSBAD. THESE
STORMS ARE PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINS AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND ARE
LIKELY TO BE ACCOMPANIED BY STRONG GUSTY WIND AND POSSIBLY HAIL.
STREET FLOODING AND FLOODING OF LOW PLACES MAY ALSO OCCUR.
